This course assists students in becoming familiar with certain mathematical topics: sets, logic, different numeration systems, number theory, the real numbers and their properties, mathematical systems, equations, inequalities, graphs, and functions. Note: Students entering the University of Houston- Clear Lake, in the School of Human Sciences and Humanities (with the exception of education majors) may use MATH 1332 as an admission requirement instead of college algebra. Lecture Hrs = 3, Lab Hrs = 0 Prerequisite: MATH 320 or equivalent, ENGL 301 or equivalent, READ 302 or equivalent
