This course provides a strong emphasis on algebraic skills and concepts of the real number system, solving polynomials, factoring, rational expressions and equations, linear systems, roots and radicals, quadratic equations and inequalities, functions including exponents and logarithmic matrices, and problem solving. This course prepares students to take MATH 1414 when completed with a grade of "C" or higher. May not be applied toward a certificate or degree at Lee College. Will not transfer to another college or university. Lecture Hrs = 5, Lab Hrs = 0 Prerequisite: MATH 315 or equivalent, READ 300 or equivalent
