The course will cover fiction and poetry, and close attention will be paid to historical contexts and themes central to the understanding of Native American literature. Authors may include Momaday, Silko, Hogan, Vizenor, Welch, and Erdrich. Credit, 3 semester hours. PREREQ: "C" grade or better in ENG 1050 and 1060.
