Description: This course will take both practical and theoretical approaches to the law of employment discrimination, focusing in particular on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The course begins by examining the analytical framework of claims available under the anti- discrimination statutes with a focus on sex, race, and age discrimination. Additional special topics such as discrimination based on national origin, religion, and sexual orientation as well as sexual harassment will also be covered.
