A general study of the mass media with emphasis on print, broadcast, and film. Includes the interrelationship of mass media in modern society with reference to its evolution. Gives the non-journalism major the knowledge to be a more intelligent user of the mass media. Introduces the journalism major to all areas of journalism stressing responsibility and ethics.
