Description: Working in two member teams, students research and write an appellate brief and present a minimum of two appellate arguments before benches comprised of law school alumni and judges, for the purpose of developing writing and oral advocacy skills. Students advancing to the Semi-Final Round of the Competition are invited onto the Moot Court Board. All students are also required to attend 6 hours of instruction in appellate writing and argumentation. Five hours of writing instruction will occur early in the fall semester, before briefs are due; the oral argument instruction will occur after briefs are turned in. **Beginning Fall 2008 semester credit is awarded for Moot Court in the Fall semester. 1.00credit(s) Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Law School
