Primary emphasis is on the application of concepts and analytical tools crucial to decisions facing managers of contemporary banks. Areas covered include financial and portfolio management, deposit acquisitions, capital adequacy, managerial objectives, market and regulatory environment, and dimensions of risk. Credit, 3 semester hours. PREREQ: A "C" or better in FIN 3100.
