This course is an introduction to algebra that also includes the review of foundations of algebra (real number system, operations with real numbers, exponents and order of operations). The course is designed to develop an understanding of solving linear equations, graphing linear equations and introduction to functions. Graphing calculator is required. Lab included. Prerequisite: MATH 0302. 1 credit hour. Note: May not be used to satisfy the requirements of an associate degree. Developmental courses may be taken for a combined total of no more than 27 credit hours.
