A skills improvement course designed to help students improve basic thinking and writing skills. Focus is on paragraph and short essay writing. Basic grammar, punctuation, and sentence construction studied as needed. Lab included. 3 credit hours. Note: May not be used to satisfy the requirements of an associate degree. Developmental courses may be taken for a combined total of no more than 27 credit hours. ENGL 0300, ENGL 0305, ENGL 0310, and ENGL 0315 may be taken for a combined total of no more than 9 credit hours.
