This is an introductory course (part 1 in a series of 12 modules) of anatomy, physiology, pathology, tests, and treatments. Here the student is introduced to basic medical word structure and language. An overview of the body including cavities and regions, anatomical planes and directional terms, and divisions of the spine are covered. Subsequent modules cover individual body systems. Spelling and pronunciation are practiced.
