This course introduces the student to the scientific investigation of the basic processes of learning and behavior. Topics of discussion will include the traditional theories, methodologies, and empirical findings of classical and instrumental conditioning, in addition to the more contemporary topics such as the biological basis of learning and the study of cognition.
