From a reading of diverse sources such as Paul of Tarsus, William James, Black Elk, Dorothy Day and Malcolm X, the student will examine the different dimensions of the experiences which led to the religious reorientation of some of the most influential-as well as some of the most idiosyncratic-thinkers of their respective ages.
