This course will cover principles of experimental design and statistics for biologists in environmental and medical fields. Hypothesis testing; data collection and sampling; data analysis and graphing; univariate; bivariate and multivariate analysis including regression and ANOVA. Students will design an experiment and compare and contrast the results of several different statistical approaches to data analysis and interpretation. Prerequisite: grade of "C" or better in either MATH-111 or MATH- 112
