A professional internship provides an opportunity for professional experience supporting application and further development of the knowledge gained in the classroom. Under faculty supervision, students work in positions related to the major, minor and/or career goal, develop learning objectives and complete reflective academic assignments. Students should be exposed to a broad spectrum of professional practice, particularly those not available in the academic setting, and are expected to make a professional contribution to their employer Prerequisites: 2.5 G.P.A., completion of 60 credits, and permission of the Internship Program director.
