The purpose of this course is to explore the current trends in health care and issues affecting the organizational changes in the industry with regard to delivery of health care services in a wide variety of settings. Topics will include history of U.S. health care, current reform proposals, universal health care insurance, ethical issues, gerontological issues, labor relations and the changing workforce in health care and comparative perspectives of health care delivery in other countries. Only available in the evening. Prerequisites: MGMT-301 or MGMT-316, junior status
