This course will present an introduction to descriptive statistics and the basis for statistical decision-making techniques. Methods for analyzing experimental data will be presented so students can gain an understanding of statistical procedures commonly used in psychological research. Topics to be covered include the presentation of data, probability, measures of central tendency and variability, correlation and an introduction to hypothesis testing. Prerequisite: PSYCH- 101
