Liberal Arts Seminars offer an in-depth examination of specific topics or themes related to the disciplines of history, the social sciences and/or the humanities. Designed for a general audience, these courses allow students in their junior year build upon the skills and knowledge gained in the introductory College Studies courses in these disciplines. As advanced writing-intensive courses within the College Studies program, these courses prepare students for senior capstone courses in College Studies and the majors by developing their research, communication and critical-thinking skills.
