An examination of the interplay between the disciplines of psychology and law. The course will examine the psychological and behavioral issues that impact on the legal and criminal- justice systems, and how law and justice affect human behavior. Topics to be covered include crime and criminal behavior, victims, law enforcement, trials, witnesses, mental illness and criminal justice, corrections, family law, crime intervention and prevention. Prerequisite: PSYCH- 101
