This course is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the concepts, components and activities related to designing, implementing and administering a compensation and benefits program. The compensation policies of internal consistency, external competitiveness, employee contribution and plan administration will be examined in detail. Techniques explored are job analysis, job description, job evaluation, market surveying, pay policy-line derivation, incentive programs, planning and budgetary controls. Only available in the evening. Prerequisite: MGMT-301
