This advanced studio emphasizes the resolution of complex design issues in the context of commercial and business interiors. Students analyze a program, ecological and environmental factors, develop a design concept, and proceed with a completed design that incorporates advanced technological and sustainable design principles. Holistic development of concept, sustainable design solutions, large-scale space planning, materials, construction details, lighting design, building systems, building codes, handicapped accessibility and furnishings is emphasized in the completed design presentation. Prerequisites: grade of "C" or better in INTD-301, andapproval of the instructor or program director
