Apparel Industries This course covers the fundamental concepts of the textile and apparel supply chain management in a global context. The course includes topics of inventory management, network locations, supply chain integration, collaboration and information sharing in the supply chain, strategic alliances, international issues in supply chain management and the role of e-business. Emphasis is on the analysis of textile/ apparel industries that are leaders in the market by excelling in the integration of their supply chain. The students will apply theses concepts in a final project using supply chain management software (EXACT software-existingand or LOGWARE software-provided with the text book.) to analyze the supply chain of a textile or apparel company such as VF Corporation, Benetton, Nike, Li & Fung, Zara Corporation, etc. Spring only Prerequisites: STAT-201, FASHMGT- 305
