In this sixth of a series of eight studio courses, students design and develop consumer products. Students learn about the complexities of the product-development process, during which assembly requirements, marketing issues, materials and component development all affect the initial intent of their designs. Students are required to fabricate a fully functional prototype of their designs. A selected team of professionals from the industry will evaluate the final product. Prerequisite: grade of "C" or better in INDD-301
