Fashion design majors work primarily in designing and executing garments. However, the area of accessories presents excellent opportunities for the creative designer. The accessories market (hats, scarves, belts, handbags and jewelry) is growing and is in need of creative and qualified talent. Accessories is an elective for the student interested in pursuing a career in this market and/or for the student who, as a designer, is interested in the creation and coordination of the total ensemble. Prerequisites: DSGNFND- 303, FASHDES- 211
