This course applies the scientific principles describing chemical movement and fate in the environment (air, water and earth) to mathematical models that can be used as tools for environmental risk assessment. Students will use STELLA, an icon-based modeling platform to formulate, calibrate, validate and implement their own environmental transport and fate models. Prerequisite: MATH-112 and CHEM 103 and CHEM 103L
