One seminar session each week in which the block placement field instruction (four days each week in a professional/social work setting) is coordinated with the classroom instruction of Social Work Practice III. The seminar provides the student opportunities to share and discuss their practice experiences of actual client services. The class provides a structured learning experience that provides students with opportunities to compare their field placement experiences, and integrate faith, theory and practice. The course also examines the use of professional supervision to enhance learning and the development of professional use of self. Open only to B.S.W. candidates. First semester.
