The composition major studies privately for seven semesters beginning in semester four. The progression of study consists of original work from simple to more complex forms, including vocal and instrumental music for the church and concert stage. The program culminates with a 60-minute senior recital during the final semester of study. A review of the B.Mus. in Composition program and course descriptions will familiarize the prospective student with the complete course of study. Both semesters.
