Introduction to surgical pathology and its relationship to surgical procedures. Emphasis on surgical procedures related to the thoracic, peripheral vascular, plastic/reconstructive, EENT, cardiac, and neurological surgical specialties incorporating instruments, equipment, and supplies required for safe patient care. Prerequisites: SRGT 1541; SRGT 2461. Corequisites: SRGT 2130; SRGT 2360. One hundred sixty total contact hours. Credit: Five semester hours.
