Description: Design introduction to concepts of NMOS and CMOS VLSI design. Design and layout concepts, testability, PLA's, scaling, and simulation. Emphasis is on silicon system design and layout with some analysis. CAD tools are introduced and used throughout the course. A project is required. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.
