Introduction to basic electronics. Alternating and direct circuit analysis and function, semi-conductor function and applications, and basic digital logic as it applies to automation devices and equipment will be introduced. Provides practical hands-on work with basic DC, AC and electronic circuits. Prerequisite: MATH 095 or 099, or consent of Instructional Unit. [GE] Application of concepts and topics discussed in ELEC 230. Concurrent enrollment in ELEC 230 required.
