Examines the theory and characteristics of more advanced digital integrated circuits including flip-flops, counters, shift registers, multiplexers, memories, and analog to digital and digital to analog converters. Emphasis is placed on digital devices, circuits and systems in practical applications, and on troubleshooting digital circuits and systems. Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or betterin ELEC 209 or concurrent enrollment in ELEC 209 or consent of Instructional Unit. [GE]
