This course is designed to serve as an introduction to the comparative study of political systems. Students will develop a core body of knowledge concerning various political regions of the world. Students will also learn what the comparative method is and how to apply it to the study of different political systems. Students will also be introduced to the political systems of the selected nation-states around the world. May be taken as a Cultural Studies elective. Prerequisite: POLS 1315
