Topics include the biochemical basis of cell structure, gene structure and expression, cell membrane structure, and mechanisms of cell-to-cell signaling. The laboratory will cover aspects of histology, physiology, and molecular biology of eukaryotic cell systems. Class 3. Lab 3. Prerequisites: BIOL 1113, BIOL 1123, and BIOL 4304. (Spring, Even years)
