A detailed study of the anatomy, physiology, diversity, and taxonomy of plants. Emphasis will be on vascular plants but will include algae and fungi as groups traditionally studied with higher plants. Laboratory work will include isolation, collection and taxonomy of major groups, physiological studies on representative organisms, anatomical and taxonomic techniques for manipulating most organisms. Class 3. Lab 3. Prerequisites: BIOL 1113 and BIOL 1123. (Spring and On Demand, Odd years)
