This course is designed for post-baccalaureate teachers-of-record. It includes classroom applications of planning, instruction, evaluation, management, and discipline; selecting appropriate teaching and learning strategies; developing a variety of appropriate lesson plans and tests; demonstrating effective teaching practices with diverse populations; using effective discipline management techniques; managing students and classroom; promoting professional growth; and working cooperatively with other professionals. Must be repeated for one additional semester to meet internship requirements. Class 3.
