A course designed to help students gain an appreciation for the richness of Arabic and a desire to master the intricacies of the language. Emphasis is placed upon acquisition of a basic facility in the Egyptian-spoken Arabic dialect. Both oral and written exercises form an integral part of the classroom program. This MESP course is only offered through the Middle East Studies Program of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities. Class 4.
