The course begins with a brief examination of the ancient Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Hebrew, and Arab cultures, including discussion of how these were affected by the Greek and Roman civilizations. This is followed by an examination of the three monotheistic world religions-- Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This MESP course is only offered through the Middle East Studies Program of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities. Class 4.
