This course is designed to help the student understand the role economists have played in our economic and political history. The course will survey the thoughts and subsequent theories of our most famous economists. The topics studied will trace our way through the ancient philosophers up to contemporary economic thinking. Contributions of economists over the past three centuries will be emphasized. Prerequisites: BECO 2311 and BECO 2312. Fall Only.
