This course introduces students to basic and intermediate snow-skiing. The course material will include basic equipment purchase and rental, proper skiwear, ski area navigation, safety and injury prevention, basic fi tness, nutrition and hydration. Emphasis will be placed on downhill skiing, basic form, nutrition/ hydration and basic safety principles. Students are expected to participate in daily training sessions and make every attempt to progress in skill level during the course. No minimal skiing skills are necessary. A basic fi tness level required. Lab fee.
