This fi eld-based course provides an overview of the teaching profession. In particular, it surveys the history and philosophy of education, rules and responsibilities of teachers and administrators, professional ethics, the certifi cation process, diverse learners, public school curriculum and assessment, school law and fi nance. This course may be taught in conjunction with EDUC 3320. Lab fee.
