A course designed to teach the student the practical application of methods used for inclusion of all individuals in a physical activity setting. Focus of the course will include redefi ning ability levels, overcoming barriers in physical activity, functional approaches to modifi cations, program planning and implementation, and application of inclusive practices in teaching physical activity. Practical fi eld based experience is required. Prerequisite: Either EXSS 2340, 2351, or 2371.
