An intermediate level course which expands listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills allowing the student to use Japanese in reallife situations for different communicative purposes. The introduction of new vocabulary items, grammatical patterns, and language functions in conjunction with a consistent review of previously learned material facilitates communicative profi ciency.
