Basic and intermediate instruction and application of Adventure Activities including kayaking, mountain biking, trekking, wading, navigation, training, performance and strategies. Emphasis is on endurance training methods, team dynamics, specifi c sport skills and basic sport nutrition. Students are exposed to the activities through an on and off-campus, 10-day fi eld experience. Deep water swimming skills and intermediate fi tness level required. Students are expected to provide their own mountain bike and helmet. Lab fee required.
