This course will review certain fundamental operations and their specifi c use in business applications. Emphasis will be placed on standard algorithms used in the solution of problems concerning such subjects as future value, income, interest, inventory, investments, present value, pricing, and taxes. Descriptive statistics and statistical data description will also be presented. In addition, use of the differential calculus in certain aspects of business will be considered. May not be counted for Mathematics credit. Elective credit only.
