The course covers harmonic and rhythmic notational practices and emphasizes four-voice part writing as a tool for learning harmonic structure, progression, and voice leading. Should be taken concurrently with MUSI 1131. Prerequisite: Satisfactory score on Theory Placement Exam or MUSI 1320.
