Description:

An advanced course in translation with a focus on medical, scientific and technical translation. Students deepen their knowledge of translation theory and are trained to build and consolidate their skills in specialized translation. May be taken concurrently with SPAN 4341. Prerequisite: SPAN 3340 with a grade of B or better. SPAN 4342 cannot be applied toward the B.A. in Spanish, but can be taken as a Liberal Arts elective.
