The microeconomic segment explores demand and supply movements which lead to price and output decisions by firms in competitive and monopolistic industries. Effects of taxation and price regulation by government are also considered. Macroeconomic segment explores the gross domestic product, inflation and unemployment. Developed also are the analytics of monetary and fiscal policies and their potential effectiveness in achieving macroeconomic stabilization.
