Reading, comprehension and analysis of reading material with a greater emphasis upon word meanings and the structure of paragraphs. Further work on identifying the main idea, distinguishing between fact and opinion, and demonstrating comprehension of a variety of reading materials at a basic level. Third class for basic skills improvement in reading for adults. Upon completion of ABE Reading III, students will be able to use the above-stated skills in everyday life.
