Retelling text for literal comprehension, identifying the main idea in short paragraphs, identifying cause/effect and sequencing, the reading and interpretation of simple signs and symbols as well as alphabetization. Second class for basic skills improvement in reading for adults who are unable to read sufficiently well to meet the requirements of adult life in the United States. Upon completion of ABE Reading II, students will be able to use the above-stated skills in everyday life.
