Operations with fractions and decimals including word problems relating to real-life applications as well as competence in using a ruler and introduction of common metric units. Third class for basic skills improvement in math for adults who are unable to compute sufficiently well to meet the requirements of adult life in the United States. Upon completion of ABE Math III, students will be able to use all operations with fractions and decimals, use rulers as well as common metric measurements to solve problems in everyday life.
