Instruction and review of basic math functions to prepare students for business classes. Ratio-proportion, percents, estimating, basic algebra, trade/cash discounts, mathematics of merchandising, inventory valuation, and other consumer related activities. Transfer limited. Prerequisite: MATH 040 or equivalent with a grade of 2.0 or higher, or appropriate score on Math Placement Test, or advisor's recommendation. Minimum placement into EAP 121 or BRDGE 093.
